Features of the content of chartreuse?
Cartesian cats do not differ from many other breeds in keeping. The first two weeks in the new house, the chartreuse will adapt, study the surrounding area, and get to know the owners. Chartreuse should be introduced to other animals in the house gradually and only under the supervision of people. Animals should not be left alone until a friendly or at least non-hostile relationship develops between them. During this period, it is also recommended to keep the kitten in one room, and then gradually give the Chartreuse access to other rooms in the house.
During this period, it is important to immediately start raising the Cartesian cat. Rules and restrictions must be established immediately and must be enforced by all family members. You should also gradually get used to the grooming procedures. By the time a Chartreuse kitten appears in the house, the necessary preparations should be made, in particular: buy a carrier, a tray, bowls, a scratching post, items and care products, food (sleeping place and accessories for walking - at the discretion of the owner), a veterinary first aid kit.
Chartreuse do well without your own bed, but if you have the financial ability, you can buy a house. In it, pets can hide, relax, be alone - in a word, the house will help them maintain peace of mind.

A carrier will be required to transport a Carthusian cat kitten to a new home, and later - for trips to the veterinarian, trips to the dacha, on a visit, to the exhibition, etc. or small breed dogs).
You can choose any toilet for the chartreuse (tray with or without a grid, dry closet), but preferably similar or similar to that of the breeder, as this will facilitate addiction. When using litter, you will also need to purchase a scoop and place a mat on the floor in front of the toilet to make it easier to clean up scattered or spilled litter.
It is recommended to purchase ceramic or porcelain bowls, but metal and glass are also suitable. Plastic bowls are the most undesirable because of their specific properties. The water bowl should be deep and the food bowl wide. They should be stored separately from other dishes in the house and washed regularly.
The scratching post is a very important item in the house. As a rule, the breeder teaches the kitten to it, so the task of the new owners is only to draw attention to the new scratching post, encouragement for its use and its replacement, when the need arises. There is a huge selection of different scratching posts in pet stores, but it is worth noting that the most attractive for cats are tall posts, upholstered in dense fabric.

Chartreuse has a balanced, calm character, which becomes especially pronounced by the age of 4-5, so there is no need to expect any special pranks from them. However, precautions should be taken. Items of value or fragile items should not be left in places where the animal can reach them. Poisonous plants must be removed to an inaccessible height or the chartreuse's access to this room must be closed. Electric wires should be secured or hidden for at least the first 2-3 years. Cartesian cats are moderately curious, but it is still recommended not to leave pest repellent, open containers with household chemicals, buckets of water and aquariums without lids, small items that can be swallowed by a pet, ropes, and so on.

Chartreuse tolerates loneliness quite calmly. Toys will help them satisfy the need for movement and brighten up their leisure time. It has been noticed that balls and rope toys seem to be the most attractive Cartesian cats.
The ideal conditions for keeping chartreuse, of course, include a lot of love, attention and care from their owners.
