It is always necessary to ensure that bags and cans with household chemicals and pesticides do not remain open (especially on the floor), all plastic bags (especially for food) must be hidden as best as possible, deep containers (including a toilet bowl) with water should be kept closed. The electrical wires must be hidden as they can serve as teethers for kittens.

To keep the sacred burma, you will need several bowls (for food and water), which must be stored separately from the dishes of the owners. Ceramic bowls are considered the most suitable. Glass, porcelain and metal bowls are also suitable for feeding Burmese. Water requires a deep ceramic bowl or a dedicated cat fountain.

You will also need a carrier designed for an adult Burmese cat, a scratching post (of any configuration), a first aid kit (you can assemble it yourself or buy a ready-made one), care products, food and a toilet (tray). Burmese cats easily get used to trays of various configurations, a dry closet or toilet, but gradually retraining to another type of tray should be done. This must be taken into account in the first weeks of a kitten's life in a new home.
