When using filler, the height of the sides of the tray should be at least 7 cm. It is necessary to take into account the size of the cat, that is, the toilet should be so spacious that an adult animal can easily fit in it. If the owner is going to purchase cat litter (any), then it is recommended to buy a scoop and spread a rug next to the litter box to facilitate cleaning the room. Many breeders use clumping litter as the most convenient. It is also worth rememberingthat the cat may be allergic to the components of some fillers, so you should not buy a large package right away. The owner of a Somali should have at least the most basic accessories and tools that will be required to carry out the minimum but complete care of the coat, eyes, ears, teeth and claws.

- cotton wool (discs, sticks, tampons), - lotion for cleaning the ears, - toothbrush and paste for animals of all tastes, - shampoo for long-haired cats, - conditioner and / or balm for cat hair, - natural bristles of medium hardness, - a double-sided comb (on one side a fine comb, on the other - a comb with rare teeth), - a metal massage brush, - a nail clipper, - sanitary napkins for the care of cats' eyes.

First aid kit. It is recommended to collect a veterinary first aid kit for all-round, including emergency, care for the Somali cat, based on the recommendations of the veterinarian and the breeder. If there is no desire or time to tinker with the collection of a first-aid kit personally, you can buy a ready-made one at a veterinary pharmacy or clinic.

Toys. For Somalia, you can choose any toy, but you should take into account the individual characteristics of your cat. When choosing toys, it is important to pay attention to their quality. All new toys should be disinfected before giving them to your pet.
