It is not recommended to use a slicker, as the hair of the undercoat of the Persians is easily pulled out, but difficult to recover. It is undesirable to comb the tail for a similar reason. Excessive diligence in brushing will deprive the cat of such dignity as fluffiness. Finish tidying up with a conditioner spray, and use a protein spray about once a week.

You can brush your teeth yourself, or go to a veterinarian or a beauty salon for cats. The salon also performs teeth whitening for cats before the show.

It is enough to clean the ears once a month and before the show. To do this, it is advisable to purchase an ear cleaner (it is sold in all pet stores), or use ordinary vegetable oil or vaseline oil. A piece of cotton wool wrapped around a match, or a cotton swab must be moistened with a cleaner and squeezed well. The liquid should not drain even when you press the cotton wool. Then, gently holding the tip of the ear, remove plaque and dirt in the visible part. For deep cleaning, you can use other drops with the same name - drops for deep cleaning of the ears.
