Video: Is The Dog Misbehaving? Active Exercise Will Help

Your dog barks nonstop. Your dog is digging, destroying your garden. Your dog chews everything in the house: how can you fight it? The answer is simple: with exercise.
It's no secret that modern man moves a little. This also applies to our dogs. While most pet owners recognize that vigorous exercise benefits dogs, very few actually see a link between physical activity and poor behavior caused by excess energy and boredom.

Some owners use barking devices or provide their dog with suitable chew toys. But this does not help to completely get rid of the problems.
Take popular breeds like the Labrador, Golden Retriever and German Shepherd for example. These are large and very active dogs, created to work tirelessly almost day and night. And we close them for most of our life in cramped apartments and aviaries! And what do they do to use up their natural energy? Right! They bark, dig, chew …
If you are considering buying a dog, think very seriously about the breed you want and whether you can provide your dog with the exercise it needs. If you cannot honestly say that you will give your dog 30 minutes of vigorous exercise at least 3-4 times a week, preferably every day, then you should not choose a large and active breed.
Consider alternatives instead. If you are dreaming of a large dog, consider breeds like Greyhound, Saluki or Irish Wolfhound. These breeds were not bred for active round-the-clock work like retrievers, huskies or shepherds, but for intermittent work, for a short period of time, with a long rest period. Many service breeds such as the Rottweiler, Akita or Boxer also require relatively little physical activity. All dogs need exercise, but not everyone goes crazy without it.
Most small breeds are easy to exercise. And not because they need fewer of them, but because it is easier to do for a small dog with short legs. Yorkshire terriers, pugs or welsh corgi can get the physical activity they need, even in a small yard or for a walk.
If you have chosen a large, active breed, you will need to meet its physical activity needs as the dog grows.
The effort spent will more than pay off! Experts say that a dog that gets a good physical activity is less prone to bad behavior, and even if it has formed, it will be easier to wean it from it. Another plus: an active dog is unlikely to suffer from obesity shortening its life.
So grab a leash and a ball and take your dog for a bouncy walk. By the way, it will be useful for you too!

Oddly enough, but despite the fact that we live in separate houses or apartments, we live together with everyone. Because on the sidewalk, on the bus, in the subway or in the store, we can't get away from these others. And as a result of such communication, we change our style of behavior or correct someone else's style, or even just learn to forgive or get used to it

Agility: Practicing The Skills Of Overcoming Shells By A Dog

It seems that teaching a dog to jump quickly, high and beautifully is not very difficult. However, this is not the case, as evidenced by the mistakes dogs make in the competition. Skill is serious business. A skill is an action formed by repetition, characterized by a high degree of mastery and the absence of element-wise conscious regulation and control
