Sacred Burma is a large semi-long-haired cat with a Siamese type of color with silk hair and snow-white paws.
Body. Medium in size, elegant, elongated, low set. Paws are round, strong with tightly closed toes.
Head. Large, wide, rounded, slightly convex forehead. The chin is strong, the nose is of medium size, without a stop. The ears are small, set wide apart.
Eyes. Round or slightly oval, blue in color.
Wool. Silky, rougher and longer on the back and pants. On the face, it is short, gradually lengthening, and forms a thick and lush collar around the neck. The wool never felts due to its silky feel.

Color. Siamese color type: with dark brown markings, blue, chocolate and lilac. The coat has a shade of very light egg yolk. The back is light beige with a golden tint. On the belly, the coat is white and slightly curled.
Gloves. An essential and very beautiful feature of the Burmese is white gloves. They should be at or slightly higher than your fingers. (The upper border is at the level of the joint between the foot and the lower leg). The hindquarters should have white spurs at the back, ending ideally half or 2/3 of the distance to the hock. Symmetry in color on the front and hind legs is important. Gloves on the hind legs may be slightly higher than those on the front.
Tail. Medium length, elegant shape. Fluffier at the end.

Note. This is the standard of the ideal animal, but the ideal sacred Burma is a great fortune and a rarity. The defects of the Burmese are immediately noticeable as the asymmetry of the white markings is striking. Cats with white spots on the head, body or tail are disqualified.
