They can only bring joy to their owners and nothing more, but for most owners this is enough. Such kittens are usually spayed or neutered immediately so that enterprising people cannot spoil the breed line, having received offspring from the Somali pet-class. Despite the large deviations in the exterior, such animals remain the most real Somali cats, which can become wonderful companions. Disadvantages of the exterior are NOT related to the health of the pet in any way!

The cost of pet-class Somali kittens from a good cattery starts from 15,000-20,000 rubles with documents and from 8,000 rubles without metrics. Sellers who do not have permission to breed Somalia, but, nevertheless, are engaged in this, put their pets up for sale at prices ranging from 5,000-10,000 rubles per kitten. At the same time, you should not rely on the quality, good heredity and pedigree of such kittens.

If a specialist assessed the quality of a Somali cat with the word "breeding", it means that only minor flaws in appearance are separated from the ideal representative of the breed, which are mainly visible only to professionals. Such Somalis can be used in breeding and take part in any cat shows. They cost, of course, more expensive than pets.

Show class Somalia - rated above other classes, as they fully meet the requirements of their breed standard. With proper preparation, they have a great chance of becoming champions, and of course they are the best producers. Somalia of the bridge class will cost the future owner about 30,000-50,000 rubles, and the show class - from 55,000 to 100,000 rubles. Cats of this quality can only be offered by official organizations (catteries and clubs).

Abroad, the price of Somali kittens ranges from $ 300 to $ 1800. When it comes to breeding, it should be said that cats are more expensive than cats. The possibility of using cats for this purpose is discussed with the seller and spelled out in the sales contract.

To select and purchase a Somali cat of the "pet" class, special knowledge is not required, but it is still recommended to carefully review the standard. But to choose and buy a Somali breed or show class, you need to know and understand the breed standard well. Such cats cost a lot of money, therefore, in order not to be mistaken in the choice and not to be deceived, it is recommended to consult with a professional in this field, show him photos of producers and kittens, and ideally it is recommended to go to the breeder with him.

The value of Somali cats is also influenced by their age. The best selling ages are between 3 and 4 months. Teenage kittens (5-7 months) are slightly cheaper. Somali adults (even former champions and manufacturers) can be purchased at prices ranging from 5,000-15,000 rubles.

In calculating the cost of a Somali cat, a lot depends on its origin, titles and titles. Also, the price reflects the level of the nursery / breeder, its breeding costs and the services provided (as a rule, round-the-clock consultations and discounts for professional feed).

Delivery of Somalia to the place of new residence is paid separately from the basic cost. If a kitten is purchased abroad, then you should take into account, for example, the cost of international telephone calls, sending documents, the cost of a personal visit to the breeder, if planned, and the like.

In fact, the list of questions can be very long. But more often than not, a responsible breeder not only talks about his animals in detail, but also tries to find out more information about those who buy his kittens by asking counter questions.
